In Utero purchase program

We offer In Utero foal purchase on all of our pregnant mares. Prices vary on variables of the dam and sire. After the contract is signed, this price is final. This price will be 25% less than the price of the same foal, post birth. Payment must be made in full at the time the contract is signed.

Buyer receives a live, healthy foal guarantee, as certified by our vet. If you would like your own vet to verify the health of the foal, buyer can make arrangements to do so. This exam must happen within 3 days of birth and buyer is responsible for all charges. If live, healthy birth does not occur, the full price of the foal will be refunded to buyer. You could also reserve the next year's foal by the same mare/sire.

We will make an effort to have a video cam recording of the birth as well as broadcast it live (we are already doing this, but you know computers!). We will board the foal until it is weaned at approximately 4 months at no charge to buyer. Buyer is responsible for all vet, farrier, medicines and other charges after birth (excluding our vet's live, healthy foal exam).

We will provide initial training of foal, including imprinting, leading, moving away from pressure, loading and standing. This is an important aspect of our program that is missing from other programs. In most cases, this important training does not happen, sometimes despite good intentions. This is thousands of dollars of training and because we believe it is extremely important to the foal, this is not optional and is included in the price of the foal.

Buyer can visit foal by making arrangements with seller. If possible, live, ongoing video will be available of the foal. Buyer must make all arrangements for transport home of the foal after it is weaned. Buyer is also responsibility for all expenses and charges for transport. We assume no responsibility for the foal after a live and healthy birth; this includes transport. SECURING INSURANCE ON YOUR FOAL, AT BIRTH, IS STRONGLY ADVISED!
